Heidi Murphy is a Principal and the VP of Finance for Warwick Communications. Warwick helps businesses improve their communications through custom voice and data technology solutions including telephone systems, VoIP and IT support and network design. Warwick tailors platforms and applications to the needs of the business while breaking down communications barriers and providing employees with the tools they need and expect in a modern work environment. Warwick provides a custom solution for every customer regardless of their size or industry.

Heidi was introduced to NAWBO during her participation in the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business program and is excited to become more involved with the organization.



Immediate Past President - Megan Patton
ODA Strategy

Megan Patton is a business strategist who has been a management consultant, trainer and executive coach for most of her career. She spends her time working with individuals, companies and non-profits to help define and implement strategies that enable peak performance and growth. She looks at the way something is done (process); who is doing the work (people); and whether something should be done at all (strategy). Megan approaches client situations from a perspective of what is working well, measured against company goals, and works hand in hand with her clients to develop workable and positive solutions to improving performance. Megan worked in a “Big Four” consulting firm for many years and focused on business process reengineering, change management and learning system development. Her clients ranged from large multinational companies to internal constituents. Prior to her career in management consulting, Megan was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Nepal. Megan received a Bachelor of Arts from Kenyon College, and an MBA in Strategy from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University. Megan is a certified professional business coach, and a proud member of the Professional Business Coaches Alliance

She is a licensed affiliate of The One Page Business Plan™ Company. Megan is a strong believer in lifelong learning, and continues to take classes on a variety of subjects.

Donna is the owner of PC Coach & Associates, LLC. For over 15 years, they have consulted, trained and advised small businesses in their accounting software and procedures to improve productivity and profitability. PC Coach & Associates has over 30 years of experience in accounting for small business in varied industries to support and enhance their business processes. Donna is a Certified Peachtree Consultant and a QuickBooks Advisor.

Biz TV Shows

Pat Altvater of AFP Marketing partners with authors, coaches, speakers and business owners who need marketing collateral to showcase their expertise and build their credibility in the marketplace. Pat’s mission is to create increased visibility for her clients, through training, consulting, strategizing, and implementing, primarily content video marketing.

AFP Marketing Group created BizTV Shows®, essentially an online small business resource in the form of short (3-4 minute) video segments created by local experts. BizTV Shows® now operates in seven cities, Toledo, Columbus, Cleveland, Akron, Indianapolis, Pittsburgh and Lincoln.


VP, Special Events - Ellen "Sam" Scheer

Ms. Scheer is a dedicated American Family Insurance Agent in Middleburg Heights. Her office includes herself and one full time licensed assistant. She has received the American Star Award for Customer Service for the past nine years and this last year won the Platinum Award for Customer Service. She has also been Agent of the Month, Five Year Profit Leader, Life Agent of the Month, All American, and has also achieved Life Diamond with her company.

In the summer of 2000, Scheer received her insurance licenses and opened her agency offering auto, home, business, and life insurance. Scheer has made insurance options not only flexible but expansive as her business grows to incorporate a one-stop shop for customers. She is recognized and respected throughout the industry and is well known within networking circles in the area. Sam loves to educate and share with her clients. Her clients will tell you she is warm, joyful, and authentic and they feel cared for by Sam. It’s not about selling insurance it’s about protecting other’s dreams. She is a Past President of NAWBO Cleveland, on the Board for the Renee Jones Foundation, and on the selection committee for Bad Girl Ventures. Sam is excited about getting back on the Board to make a difference for this NAWBO chapter. Sam gives back to the community and shows her commitment in every action she takes.

She delivers motivating keynote speeches, leads dynamic and engaging workshops, and creates results oriented coaching programs.

Lisa lives in Chagrin Falls, Ohio with her husband Lou and his dog, Neuton. She loves chocolate, the beach, and country music.

In 2010, after attending a professional stylist’s workshop with Stacy London of TLC’s ‘What Not to Wear’ fame, Traci was invited to represent Stacy’s company STYLE for HIRE™ in the N.E. Ohio area and did several styling events in Chicago & New York.

Traci has been a regular monthly contributor to Cleveland Business Connects Magazine since 2011, writing on professional style advice for men and women. Traci has written several feature articles for N.E.O. BOOMER and BEYOND Magazine as well. She has been named one of five finalists for Networking Star of the Year by CBC Magazine an in 2013 received ‘Rising Star’ award from NAWBO Cleveland Since 2010 Traci has been engaged with NAPO Nat. Assoc. of Professional Organizers as an associate member and has been on their Board since 2012. In addition is now in her fourth year on the Board of Directors for NAWBO Cleveland, Nat. Assoc. of Women Business Owners.

Being a longtime volunteer and Board member of Dress for Success-Cleveland has been and continues to be an important part of Traci’s life.

Director, Programming - Sharon Mack
Life's Healthy Essentials

Sharon Mack, of Life’s Healthy Essentials, has been researching and living the benefits of a whole foods, plant-based lifestyle since January 2008.

In a quest to heal inflammation in her own body, Sharon began studying the healing power a plant-based diet coupled with the benefits of using pure essential oils, to assist in her recovery. In 2013, Sharon received her certificate in plant-based nutrition, as well as her certification as a leader with a national program created by a physician and psychologist designed to help individuals transition to a predominately plant-based diet. As a former floral shop owner and designer, Sharon combines her love of creating with her passion for healthy eating and lifestyle, and currently offers classes at the Cleveland Clinic Fairview Wellness Center, located in Rocky River, Ohio. Sharon also has had experience in the corporate world, shortly after college Sharon began her career as an Office Administrator and Paralegal, and worked in this capacity for more than 20 years. In addition, Sharon has enjoyed being a mentor for young women during times of challenge through the Cleveland Pregnancy.

Liz started her career with a passion for journalism and public relations. She graduated from the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University, and was focused on bringing people together and raising awareness for products and services.

After working in the marketing and PR world for a few years, she realized there was a better way to generate leads and that’s where Hersh PR and Marketing began.

Liz is the founder of Hersh PR and Marketing, a lead generation company based in Brecksville.  Since founding the firm in 2009, she has created a proven system for business growth that ensures clients are visible when and where they need to be.

Under her leadership, the company has helped generate business for companies in a variety of industries including restaurants, retail, professional services and real estate. Liz and her team strive to create campaigns that work efficiently with the resources available – saving client’s time, energy and money.
